job
chief_clay77 asked:

Currently I am attending college and I juggle a whole lot of crappy jobs just to keep my bills knocked out. My parents help me with nothing, but I kind of like it like that. I am looking for something in the financial world. Ever since I was twelve I have been involved with stocks and bonds and average 35% annually on my portfolio (which pays for college). Right now I am a junior majoring in economics with a minor in finance, while working about 30-35 hours a week in a crappy job. How could I get a job now using some of the skills I have while fitting in 15 credit hours of college? I usually schedule my classes around the times the market is open.

Approach firms and ask for support on working with them while at college you may find one that will help try small firms first

No you don’t. You can’t consistently beat the market for that length of time. You’ll get a lot farther in finance if you’re honest and realistic with others (and with yourself) about your portfolio’s performance.

Anyway, to answer your question, your college’s internship office is probably the best place to look. They can help you out. If you’ve had time to fit in 30-35 hours a week for a crappy job, I’m sure you won’t have any trouble fitting an internship in with your studies. Some colleges may even give you college credit for your internship, so you can get paid AND take fewer classes.

    Good luck.
